Blog your brand Challenge

Today is officially the last day of the 30 Day blogging challenge. I must say that I started this out very hesitant as I had participated in the June 30 day challenge and I found it very hard. I think the hardest thing was coming up with content to publish each day. In June I was really at my wit’s end and when this challenge came along I thought what the heck will I ever write about as I really have nothing left to say.
I was quite surprised to find that as the days counted down I actually found It enjoyable to write and there were plenty of things

Support small family owned businesses and get great customer service

I believe that outstanding customer service skills are crucial and the bloodline to your business. You can have a great product but if your customer service skills are lacking most likely your business will not survive. Big box stores have a huge advantage over small family businesses. Pray for Paris Westboundsoap
Yesterday I was home getting ready for my open house. I did not turn on the tv or news all day. That is quite a normal day for me actually, I really could live my entire life without tv. I usually see the news on the computer as I work. But for some reason I did not catch any of the news of the horrific events that were taking place in Paris France. My husband came home from work and took one look at me and the first words out his mouth to me were, “You have not seen the news have you?” He knew just by looking at me that I did not know about the latest crazy terrorist attack.

How to host an open house with your handmade craft

Posted by Chris Greten on

As I sit here waiting for my second open house to kick off, I thought I would let you in on my secret and why you should have an open house with your handmade item too. First though let me ask a question and make a confession to you. Am I the only one at 1 minute past the time the event starts, saying no one is coming? Do you do this? I do this every time! My open house starts at 4 PM and it is 4:23 so I want to slink into my bed and curl up because I think no one is coming. Okay, but really I know people are coming and as soon as the first arrives I always feel so much better. Hope I am not the only one guilty of getting anxious like that.
Okay now that, t
